The History of White Peony Tea


Before 1922, white peony tea tree was produced in Shuiji of Jianyang County. After that, Zhenghe County began to grow white peony tea trees and became the major production area of white peony tea. In the 1960s, the tea trees prevailed in Songxi County. Now the tea tree areas are distributed in counties like Zhenghe, Jianyang, Songxi, Fuding etc.
